New Support Group for everyone from Oconto to Oshkosh

We are starting up a new Lyme support group that will include everyone from Oshkosh to Oconto.

Our first gathering will be Sat. April 13th from 11:30 to 1:00 at the De Pere Public Library.  It will be an informal meet and greet.  Our hope is you will find people to connect with if you have questions or needs between formal meetings.
Kress Family Branch Library
333 N. Broadway
De Pere, WI 54115

Our next gathering is on May 10.  We will meet at Baird Place Park in Green Bay on the corner of Webster St. and E. Mason St from 11:00 to 3:00.  (1001 Cass St Green Bay, WI 54301).
May 10th and May 11th are the Worldwide Lyme Awareness days.  Over 20 countries and several states are holding events to help raise awareness.  The state of Wisconsin was not planning anything so I thought we could just sit in the park, across the street from Bellin Hospital, and let everyone know we care.

I hope you can stop by during your lunch hour or before picking up the kids from school.  This park has a lot of shade and I encourage you to bring a blanket or a chair to sit in.  The “Under Our Skin” filmmakers will be compiling short movie clips and still photos for a new film he will be producing so be sure to bring your camera.  I have a friend who will bring a go pro video camera to get shot of us in the park and to do some shots of Lambeau Field because they want to know where we are from.  What better way to say we are here than by showing a shot of the stadium!

I hope to see you all in April at the De Pere Library!
